We started off as a simple winery and have since grown to include a calendar of events, wine tastings, and an events center. Old Homeplace Winery vineyard lies between a 1200 acre lake and 48 acres of beautiful rolling pastures. Our family has owned this farm for for over 70 years. By opening the doors to Childress Vineyards in 2004, NASCAR team owner Richard Childress fulfilled a longtime dream that grew from the days when he first began racing in California and visited wineries with friends.
